By downloading or using Persona Lens, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions: [email protected].
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Persona Lens. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
2. What Persona Lens is (and isn't)
Persona Lens is a self-improvement tool. It analyses short recordings of yourself and gives written observations across ten dimensions like eye contact, pause patterns and pitch variation. It is not:
- a medical, psychological, or diagnostic service,
- a coaching credential — the feedback is generated by a language model against on-device measurements, not by a licensed professional,
- a talent evaluation service — the observations describe how you come across on camera in a short clip, nothing more.
Do not rely on Persona Lens for decisions that carry legal, medical, or financial consequences.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure — anyone with access to it can access your Persona Lens account. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Free tier and subscriptions
- Free tier: the first three analyses are free. Once you use them, further analyses require a subscription.
- Subscription: paid plans are billed through the App Store, on the terms shown at the time of purchase. Renewal, cancellation and refund rules follow Apple's standard subscription policy. To cancel or request a refund, use your Apple ID subscription settings — we cannot process refunds directly.
- Fair use: the service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Automated or excessive requests (for example, scripting hundreds of analyses per day) may trigger throttling or suspension.
5. Content ownership
- Your video, audio and transcript remain yours. We do not claim any ownership over them and we do not use them to train machine-learning models.
- The written feedback shown in the app is generated by our system on your behalf. You may share or use it however you like.
- The Persona Lens brand, app, website, and underlying software remain our property.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that isn't of yourself,
- use the app to analyse someone else without their explicit consent,
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service,
- use the app to break any applicable law.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be removed as the product evolves; we will not remove access to your historical analyses without at least 30 days' notice via in-app or email.
8. Limitation of liability
Persona Lens is provided "as is" and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for a subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is lower. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that are used to abuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, liability, disputes) continue to apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the courts of Istanbul.
11. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where practical, notify you in-app. Continuing to use Persona Lens after a change means you accept the updated terms.
